Vice President Faisal Naseem urged the company to ensure young workers have opportunities to develop their leadership skills in the workplace.

Emphasizing that the best investment an organization can make is in developing its human capital, the Vice President noted how the Covid-19 pandemic has provided invaluable lessons alongside challenges on all aspects of how the work is done.

Shedding light on the steady recovery from Covid-19, Vice President Naseem said the most important thing now is proving to be ground-breaking discussions on best practices in human resource and skills development.

Noting that not all employees need to be sitting at a desk to improve productivity, the vice president said Covid-19 has taught people how to use technology to complete routine tasks without hassle.

Going on to say that Covid-19 has also taught people that the mental health and well-being of employees is as important as their physical safety, the VP drew attention to the importance of learning lessons from the pandemic on the way to normality. .

Standing on the podium at the event, the Vice President also said that the administration of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih gives high priority to the development of human capacities.

That being said, he noted that several grants, scholarships, and loan opportunities are available for aspiring young professionals to further their education.

However, he noted that quality education alone would not be enough to effectively develop human capital, adding that it was crucial to ensure young workers had opportunities to develop their confidence, leadership and technical skills on the job. workplace.
