The Los Angeles Clippers will enter the NBA next season as one of the favorites in the Western Conference. Since being ruled by their new regime, they have been highly regarded in the league but have not been able to achieve their goal. That could change this season with just a few moving parts.

Kawhi Leonard gave up his contract with the Clippers, which was predictable. He ended up signing a new contract that paid him more over the next four years. It was a business decision for Leonard and he never intended to leave Los Angeles.

The duo of Leonard and Paul George is still intact and the Clippers have a chance to be in the top flight again. They finished as the fourth seed in the Western Conference this season and advanced to the conference finals.

There isn’t a lot of movement to do in Los Angeles, but that doesn’t mean they have to sit on their hands. If they’re looking to take another step, the Orlando Magic could be an intriguing business partner. This is a front office which has been very busy in recent months.
