2021 was another year filled with uncertainties, in the auto trade there was (and still is) a new car supply problem which delayed orders. However, despite all the challenges, Blackburn Audi, Preston Audi and Volkswagen Van Center Lancashire, both part of the Swansway family car group, are delighted to have continued their support of the Circus Starr charity.

The Congleton-based charity understands that it can be difficult to attend mainstream events when it comes to children with additional needs or for families facing difficult circumstances. Sarah Hall, communications and engagement manager at Circus Starr, said: “The pandemic has had an impact on us and we have had to adapt our shows to make sure everyone is safe, happy and healthy. . We rely solely on donations from businesses like Swansway Group to keep us running and during the nationwide lockdowns their support has been greatly appreciated.

“Not only do their donations allow us to provide a safe environment, but they also help us share our magical show with the most deserving! Their contribution helps finance tickets for underprivileged families so that they can make precious memories together after a difficult couple. year.”

Swansway Group Director David Smyth added: “We are extremely proud to have reached the milestone of five years of support for Circus Starr. During that time, we’ve helped over 4,000 families enjoy a day together and that’s something that really brings a smile to our face.”

The mobility scheme is open to anyone receiving a higher rate mobility allowance (such as the enhanced rate mobility component of the Personal Independence Payment or the higher rate mobility component of the Persons Living Allowance). disabilities). Beneficiaries can redeem all or part of their allowance to rent a Motability car such as an SUV, sedan, hatchback or minivan across a wide range of vehicle brands.
