Jana Schreuder new Chair of Butterfield Cayman Board of Directors

Butterfield announced that Jana Schreuder, who sits on the board of directors, has also been appointed non-executive chair of the board of Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited.

Schreuder’s appointment came into effect on October 5, following approval by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA).

“Jana is an experienced banker and corporate administrator who has served in a number of leadership roles,” said Michael Collins, president and CEO of Butterfield Group, in a press release.

She joined the Butterfield Group Board of Directors in August 2020 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Northern Trust Corporation, from which she retired in 2018.

She is currently a Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee of Blucora, Inc., and has served as a Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee of Entrust Datacard Group since 2008. Previously, Schreuder was a member of the Board of Directors of LifePoint. Health.
